Oberlin Mentoring Program connects current Oberlin students with alumni and professionals to support career exploration, personal growth, and preparation for life after graduation. The program is designed to build meaningful, supportive relationships that strengthen the Oberlin network before and after graduation.
Students gain guidance, encouragement, and career insight. Alumni and professionals have the opportunity to give back, support the next generation of Obies, and strengthen their own leadership skills.

Mentees: September 8 - September 25
Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged.
After Your Registration Is Accepted
Complete the short orientation sent to your email.
Matching takes place after October 1
You will receive an email notification once matched.
For Mentees: How to Select Mentor Favorites
Favoriting Timeframe for Mentees: September 23 - October 1
Click “Mentors.”
Use filters (major, interests, hobbies, etc.).
Favorite your top 5 mentors to increase your chances of being matched.
Important Information
Participants are matched based on registration responses, interests, background, and availability.
Mentees may select preferred mentors, but preferred matches are not guaranteed.
Due to high mentor demand, we will do our best to match mentees with one of their top five choices.
Incomplete OberLink profiles will not be considered for matching.
You must complete the required orientation to be accepted into the program.
